Looking for a printable even and odd numbers chart? Super! Here you can find multiple cute & free odd and even numbers charts, number line printables, and missing numbers worksheets in black & white and pretty pastel colors.

Number lines are a great way to understand numbers, learn how to count, and a fun way to practice basic addition and subtraction.

This week I’ve created multiple cute and simple odd and even number charts and printable worksheets you can print out for your children or students.

HOW TO PRINT: These printables are easy to print out and use – just follow these steps to get your worksheets printed:

1. Scroll down until you find the design you’d like to print out
3. An ad might pop up, so close the ad, and the PDF will appear
4. Save the PDF to your computer and print them out.

Psst! The image has my logo on a banner, but no worries, the PDFs come without it.

Size: US Letter – but some can be easily resized and printed as A4.

Tip for printing: I always recommend saving the file to the computer first so that it will print out using the correct printer settings you have set up.

## What are odd numbers?

Odd numbers are numbers that are not divisible by 2. So the number 1 is odd, as well as 3, 5, 7, 9, and all other numbers that are not evenly divisible by 2.

An odd number can not be divided into two equal groups.

The odd numbers always end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.

So if you see any number that ends in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9, you’ll know it’s an odd number.

The answer will always be an odd number when adding any integer with an odd integer.

The sum of any two odd numbers is always an even number.

When counting up from 1, each alternate number is an odd number.

## What are even numbers?

Even numbers are numbers that are divisible by 2.

So the numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and all other numbers that are evenly divisible by 2 are even numbers.

And even numbers can be divided into two equal groups.

The last digit of an even number is always 0, 2, 4, 6, 8.

So any numbers ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 are even numbers.

The sum of two even numbers is always an even number.

When counting up from 2, each alternate number is an even number.

## Why is it important to know whether a number is odd or even?

It is essential to know whether a number is odd or even when solving math problems. For example, when adding two numbers together, if one of the numbers is even and the other number is odd, the answer will be an odd number.

If you are ever stuck on a problem, knowing whether a number is odd or even can help you get started on solving the problem.

## Is zero an even or odd number?

So how about zero? Is it an odd or even number – or neither? According to Britannica.com, zero is an even number because it’s divisible by two.
