Want to take time for yourself to read a good book and to always know what page you’re on? Super! Download these pretty self-care bookmarks.
I love to start a lot of self-development books and then read them a while and move onto a new book and let the other book “marinade” in my mind a bit until I’m ready to go back to it.
Do you do that?
Start a book, then move to another one, and then another one and then go back to the ones you first started?
And when you have a lot of books you’re reading simultaneously you’re always out of bookmarks.
And I was thinking that I can’t be the only one who has that problem.
So I wanted to make some printable bookmarks with self-care quotes so that you (and I) never run out of bookmarks again.
I hope you like them!

So today‘s printable gift is self-care bookmarks printable.
These cute bookmarks come in three different colors: light pink, light blue and light grey.
And there’s a black-and-white (or should I say grey-and-white) version if you don’t have a color printer at hand.
There are three different designs with inspirational quotes that say:
- “Take time to do what makes your soul happy.” -N.N.
- “The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.” – Bertrand Russell (this is my absolute favorite one!)
- and “Self-care is how you take your power back.” – Lalah Delia
Which one do you like the best?

How to print and make the “stay-on-the-page” bookmark
Here’s how you can make the “stay-on-the-page” bookmarks:
1. Download and print out the printable that has little white lines inside the hearts (you can find the link at the end of this post)
2. Cut off the bookmarks with a paper trimmer and/or scissors
3. Use a sharp paper knife to cut along those small white lines inside the heart
If you do this option you can place the bookmark “on the page” you are at and it’s stays there better than just placing a bookmark between the pages.
I don’t know if I know how to explain it well enough but check out the picture below.

Cut along the white lines in the heart and place the bookmark “on the page” like in these pictures.
