Recommended paper for printing bingo cards
I use this paper (and this paper only) for all my printing. I absolutely love it!
I recommend using heavier paper so they’ll print out nicely. I use this HP paper for all my printing.
How to play bingo (in a nutshell)
- Each player has a bingo card with different letters on them.
- The caller draws a letter and calls it out.
- All the players look for that letter on their cards; if they have it, they mark it off.
- The first player who marks off five letters in a row (up, down, diagonal, or across) wins! As long as they call out BINGO!
How to set up a bingo game using printables
Playing bingo is so much fun. Here are the instructions on how to set up and play bingo using printables:
- Print out as many different bingo cards as you have players. You can find 12 different ones in this post. If there are more players, you can make small groups that use the same card.
- Print out two calling cards.
- There are 26 alphabets on the calling card. Cut them out, fold each, and place them in a bowl.
- Use the other calling card to mark down drawn letters, so you have something to check when a player calls bingo.
- All players have their own bingo cards.
- The bingo caller/teacher will pick a letter from the bowl and will say the letter name out loud, and all players will mark it on their cards.
- The game continues until someone has created a row, column, or diagonal line of marked letters and has called out BINGO!
Kids love learning by playing games, and alphabet bingo is a fun way to teach them the alphabet in a fun and interactive way.
I hope you and your students/kids enjoy these printables!
