Tips for learning the 10 times table
The easiest way to memorize multiplication tables is to find patterns or skip counting.
Here are a few helpful learning points and tips:
10 times table is definitely the easiest! Just add a 0 at the end of the number your multiplying by ten.
Example: 2 x 10 = 20 and 4 x 10 = 40
Or you can also skip count: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and so on.
Or use the repeated addition. Repeated additions are adding groups of numbers together multiple times.
Example: 10+10=20 (is the same as 2 x 10 which equals 20)
Example: 10+10+10+10+10+10+10=70 is the same as 7×10
Math tip: To write multiplication use an x between two or more numbers.
How to use the free printable multiplication charts
Learning multiplication tables can be easy and fun! Find patterns to memorize the tables, and of course, the best way for students to learn is to practice often.
Print the free printable multiplication charts to practice the multiplication facts.
Fill in the correct answers to the blank multiplication table and check the correct answers from the printable multiplication charts.
